UFP’s new Environmental Working Group is hosting a presentation by Julian Tennent-Riddell on fossil fuel divestment at noon on Sunday, Jan. 4th.
It’s January, the new year has turned, and … now what? Has what you were waiting for arrived? Do you feel “born away into fresh vision”?
The Fellowship has approved its 2015 budget, at a congregational meeting held after the November 30 service. The major change in the coming year is the creation of a new part-time administrator position.
Singer-songwriter Jim Scott, a friend and collaborator of folk legend Pete Seeger, joined us on Nov. 28 for an evening of songs of earth, justice and peace.
We are currently looking for two people to join us as facilitators for the Circle of Care. If you see yourself in this volunteer role or want more information, please speak to Rev. Julie, Hendrika Seshadri, Jan Bowen, or Erika Steinhubl.
Please RSVP “yes” or “no” by Oct. 30. This event is free for all UFP members and friends and includes a catered luncheon. We’ll be celebrating the gifts and achievements of this past year and launching our annual pledge campaign.
