COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP

What if you were able to speak honestly and listen with empathy, letting others know what is most important to you while hearing what is most important to them?
This one-day experiential workshop is an introduction to Nonviolent or Compassionate Communication (NVC) in which the following will be included:
• Identifying your feelings and needs and those of others
• An awareness of what can get in the way of being compassionate and how to change that
• Creating more choice in how you respond to others
• Asking for what you want – Requests versus Demands
Cost: Value of $50 – $100 includes lunch but please pay what you are comfortable paying. All monies will be donated to the Refugee Sponsorship Committee of the Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough. For registration or more information, contact Aukje Byker
