Here’s everything you need to know:
We’ll have our usual coffee time, during which the foyer will be set up for serving a light lunch (to make it fully accessible.) And after eating, we’ll move into our meeting, which will begin in the sanctuary, breaking out into some groups throughout the main floor for discussion. Please attend, but if you truly can’t, here’s a proxy form.
We suggest a $5 donation for lunch; contribute what you can or treat someone else to lunch…just be sure to get something to eat!
All welcome! (Only members can vote.) Childcare is provided.
ANNUAL REPORT here.
MOTION from the BOARD:
Your Board and Co-Visioning team will present a motion (following a discussion) that we put $10,000 toward an accessibility project, which includes installation of an elevator in our shared building. Read the background here.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT:
UFP’s Nominating Committee is pleased to provide to members our list of confirmed nominees for election to the UFP Board of Directors: Joan Higginson and Guy Hanchet, for their first and second terms, respectively. Continuing on the Board for their second year will be Stephanie Curtin, Heather Lynn, Chris Risley, and Ben Wolfe. Kate King-Fisher and Ian Attridge are also standing for re-election to the Nominating Committee. Our Committee continues to talk with other potential nominees for these positions, and nominations may also be made at the Annual General Meeting this coming Sunday — please chat with us beforehand if you are interested!
The Nominating Committee will also propose a resolution at the AGM to further support leadership development at UFP: “that the Congregation encourages the Nominating Committee to explore a broader leadership development role in the Congregation, in consultation with other Committees, the Board and the Minister”.
See you Sunday! – Kate King-Fisher, Ian Attridge, and Joan Higginson.
