Two Choirs, Many Guest Musicians
Music is an integral part of our Sunday services, as well a deep source of joy for many in our community. We have two choirs — Resonance and The Occasional Singers — that each provide choral music once per month. On the other Sundays, music is performed by guest musicians who are often active at UFP.
No service is complete without hymns sung by the whole congregation, and usually choral or instrumental music performed by the many people in our congregation who enjoy sharing their musical talent.
Contact our Music Coordinator if you are interested in providing music at a service.
Do You Love to Sing? Join Resonance!

Resonance is the choir of the Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough. We welcome new participants from the congregation and the wider community. If you are over 16, able to comfortably carry a tune, and ready to participate in 4-part harmony (we’ll help you along) you are invited to join us! The ability to read music is an asset but not essential.
Regular weekly practices take place Sundays 7:00–8:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough. We sing once a month, usually the first Sunday of the month, for the Sunday morning service (preceded by a 9:00 a.m. practice). Choir members are expected to attend all weekly practices preceding the monthly performance. You can choose to sing for the entire year or you can commit to one month at a time.
We look forward to having you join us! Contact Andrew Wilton if you’re interested in joining Resonance.
