Leslie Menagh is thrilled to join the UFP and BIS teams as the Joint Administrator. Leslie is a Peterborough resident and entrepreneur, community organizer, workshop facilitator, and interdisciplinary artist. She has worked for many years in arts administrative roles and the cultural sector. Most recently she has been operating a business called Madderhouse Textile Studios where she produces and teaches textile screen printing, has presented a variety of workshops with other professional artists, hosts artists-in-residence, and project coordinates with other organizations and artists to bring innovative public engagement opportunities to the public. She is also a keen founding supporter for the social enterprise, working with a team of sewists who are newcomers to Canada (Newcomer Sewing Crew). Leslie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
