NEW!!! Walking With U and U
As of February 21, 2022, the UFP Connections Team has been offering a new walking program. We are gathering every Monday morning at 10am at the beautiful rendezvous under the Hunter Street Bridge. From this hub, trails go out in many directions and we choose a different one each week. Come and join in. Bring a friend, children are welcome, and so is a well-behaved dog. We will observe whatever UFP COVID-19 protocols are in place at the time.
So what happens if it is too cold or raining? Come anyway! There are 4 restaurants nearby on Hunter Street. We will meet at the hub under the bridge, go for a coffee or tea instead, and get to know each other. So don’t forget to bring your QR code for proof of vaccination if required.
- If arriving from the north by walking or bike, take the road right across from Cricket Place. Go down the hill and to the left to the bridge. FYI, there is no parking on the north side of the bridge.
- From Hunter Street take Burnham Street south to Steve Terry Way and follow through the playing areas to the parking lot at the bridge.

We look forward to meeting you for Walking in the Winter in the warmth of friends.
Each week, Margeree Edwards showcased a beautiful nature walk in the vicinity of Peterborough.
